We are an Insurance Broker specialising in arranging insurance for Art & Collectables for Private Clients, Self Managed Super Funds (SMSF’s), Auction Houses, Art Dealers, Art Valuers, Storage Facilities and Galleries.
Our office is located in Victoria, although we insure clients all over Australia and overseas as well.
Our business philosophy is simple – we only focus on the Art & Collectable sector. BY meeting and speaking to our clients and the wider Art community and experts we have a deep and genuine understanding of the sector so that we can design and deliver better insurance to you.
Our History
We first started the business back in 2010 under the name Self Super Insurance. This name represented our focus on helping SMSF’s with their art & collectable collection. However, over the journey our clientele has grown way beyond just SMSF’s. Therefore, we changed our name in 2018 to better reflect our proposition to all owners and collectors of Art & Collectables.
You would be amazed at what we insure. We insure paintings; figurines; sculptures of all types; wine; coins; bullion; art exhibitions; jewellery and watches just to name a few. Put simply with rare exception there is almost nothing we can’t insure.
Our History
Insure My Art is the trading name of Art Insure Pty Ltd (ABN: 47 608 577 304; AFS Representative Number: 001237608) which is a corporate authorised representative of Consult Insurance Solutions Pty Ltd (AFSL 339045).

Through our AFSL Holder we are members of the Financial Ombudsman Service Australia. FOS handles complaints about banking, credit, loans and debt collection, life insurance, superannuation, financial planning, insurance broking, stockbroking, investments, managed funds, timeshares, general insurance, finance and mortgage broking. They cover complaints where the value of the claim is $500,000 or less.
